APPROACH

Sustainability

The objective of the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is that extreme poverty will be eliminated, and that human rights will be respected by 2030. The 2030 Agenda comprises 17 SDGs and 169 targets and is the most ambitious plan for sustainable development so far.

With this prioritisation, we focus on the most relevant areas where we can influence and improve the global economic, social, and environmental challenges in the long term.

LEADERSHIP

Normative leadership

As a leading textile manufacturer, we impose strict requirements on our suppliers. We offer a very comprehensive product portfolio, and we have a close cooperation with all our suppliers in Europe and the Far East. We determinedly and consistently control the quality of all end products, and we maintain a continuous dialogue on an acceptable environmental policy. Our textile manufacturing is based on the idea that time, quality, and delivery times must interact. With that in mind, we can create a better everyday life for the end user.

One of our core values is our close relationship with our customers, manufacturers, and suppliers. Thanks to our know-how, we can influence how the future will look like in three or five years from now. In close cooperation with our customers, manufacturers, and suppliers we accommodate issues faced by each country. Thus, we learn from each other’s experiences where we create a shared culture based on a sustainable approach.

ECONOMY

Circular economy and supply chain

Our business protects our values with respect for people, communities, environment, and natural resources. Borch Textile Group will meet and exceed our stakeholders’ expectations. By making the right decisions that maintain a fair balance between the stakeholders’ requirements, Borch Textile Group contributes to sustainable development. We take responsibility for economic, social, ethical, and environmental aspects in the world around us.

At Borch Textile Group we have a constant focus on transparency in our business model. We source our business to areas with the highest quality, meaning that our customers only get first-class, long-lasting textiles.

Borch Textile Group is based on global sourcing – and local customer dialogues. We do not just sell textiles. We sell credibility.
